Story Line:
Krishnaswamy (Kamal Hassan) living happily with his daughter and a young son in a village . Dhanush(V.M.C.Haneefa) a con from the city has an eye on Krishnaswamy’s property and asks him to join his chitfund business. At first Krishnaswamy refuses ,but agrees later and comes to city. Dhanush swindles away the chitfunds money and blame it on Krishnaswamy and sents him to jail. When he comes out ,he finds that his mother-in-law died, his son has run away, and his daughter was in Sonagach (red-light area) in Kolkata. He get back his son and also tracks his daughter Kaveri, with the help of other sex- workers he brought her back to Chennai. How krishnaswamy destroy dhanush and others who are involved behind this game is the rest of the movie.
